Open for Dogs – Campaign
Anyone who owns a dog and has tried to enter places such as shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and libraries etc. will know how frustrating it is to be refused entry. You could be surrounded by screaming children coughing with runny noses but your clean, well behaved dog is not allowed in.
Dogs Welcome
The Kennel Club has launched a campaign to encourage more businesses to allow dogs entry to shops, cafes, libraries and just about any place where dog admission is regularly refused. We’re not talking about where food is prepared such as restaurant kitchens of course, just places where members of the public are allowed. Dog friendly holidays including hotels and apartments are also included and give details about establishments around the country.
Dog Friendly Venues
There is a competition to reward dog friendly businesses and members of the public are encouraged to nominate their favourite dog friendly venue and register places that accept dogs so other dog owners can enjoy the company of the canine friends on holiday and days out etc. For more information please contact: Open For Dogs Campaign.
